The plant was designed to treat black and grey water from an office tower, with the treated water designed to comply with ablutions and irrigation quality. It employs biological processes (MBR) to remove biological nutrients such as nitrate, phosphate and COD, as well as suspended solids. A UV is added for disinfection, followed by GAC to polish the water from any remaining organic material.
